Terms and Conditions.
Office hours: 10am to 5pm - Monday to Friday (Excl B/Hols).1.1. Call-out charging/Hourly rate.
We have no call out charge, our hourly rate is £25.00.
Please note that some of our services cannot be performed in the customer's premises.1.2. Items ordered for upgrade installation.
If you have requested that we purchase an item for you (i.e. a hard disk) for an upgrade to your computer system, we may ask that you pay for this item in full prior to any works being carried out.1.3. Pick up and delivery of computer systems.
It is up to the customer to arrange delivery and pickup of their computer system to/from our office. We do not provide this service.1.4. Windows reinstalls.
When ordering our Windows Reinstallation service, you must provide either your original Microsoft Windows CD or a backup copy of this disk plus any activation codes that came with said disk (i.e. your 25 digit activation key found on the CD packaging).
1.4.1. Driver disks.
If for any reason you cannot supply us with driver disk/disks for the hardware in your PC we will try our best to supply the correct drivers but cannot guarantee that we will be able to obtain said drivers, this may result in your system not having sound, full graphics capability etc... It is the responsibility of the customer to source replacement disks if we cannot find an alternative.1.4.2. Lost Windows CDs.
In the event that you cannot supply us your Windows CD we may be able to use our own CDs but you must be able to provide your 25 digit activaton key.
1.5. Condition of items sent for servicing.
All items/systems must be fully functional, except in the case of virus infection. If an item/system is found to be faulty we will return said item and charge an administration fee of £10.1.6. Guarantees.
All parts will include the manufacturer's guarantee, if an item fails within the guarantee period it is up to the customer to seek a replacement or refund from the manufacturer, we will then reinstall the replacement item free of charge, if the original order was placed within the last 12 months.1.7. Refunds.
All refunds given will exclude any Items purchase on your behalf and any postage costs we may incur.1.8. Web Design Copyright.
You will become the copyright owner of any web pages we design for you.1.9. Pricing & V•A•T.
As we are only a small family business with an income under £67,000, we do not have to be V•A•T registered thus you will not be charged V•A•T on any of our products and services. Also we cannot issue V•A•T invoices.1.10. Backing up data.
It is the responsibility of you, the client, to ensure that ALL important data is backed up prior to submitting a computer/HDD for one of our services, as some of services require that your computers hard disk be reformatted (Wiped clean) i.e. Windows Reinstall. We cannot be held responsible for loss of data.1.11. Disk Drive Erasue.
Once your HDD has been erased you will not be able to recover any data from the drive, this is the whole purpose of the procedure. It is your responsibility to ensure valubale data is backed up before handing your HDD over to us. (see 1.10 above)
Annie Brion Computer Diagnostics europe will not be liable for any economic losses (including, without limitation, loss of revenues, loss of data, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings), any loss of goodwill or reputation, or any special, indirect or consequential damages (however arising, including negligence) arising out of or in connection with this Agreement.
We cannot guarantee that any work carried out on your system will not cause a loss of data, we do however try our best to prevent any data loss. It is up to the customer to ensure that they have a backup of any valuable data they may have on their system prior to any of our services being carried out.
Due to the destructive nature of viruses, your system may require a complete operating system restore to reverse the damage, this may add a substantial amount to the repair cost, if this situation occurs we will inform you prior to commencing the restore to allow you to evaluate the extra cost.
